Welcome to January Arts, a new Los Angeles based Non-Profit ready to support artists and build a solid foundation for creative growth and sustainability.
Running a for-profit company, Shoebox Arts, wasn't enough for Kristine Schomaker. Her vision was set on helping ALL artists. Her heart and generous nature have been pushing her to find ways to give back in a more inclusive way to further this mission. Creating this non-profit allows everyone to get involved.
The team at January Arts is ready to take on the responsibility with passion, energy, motivation and love. They are ready to collaborate, connect and create change.

Ways you can help:
1. Small Works Fundraiser - held August 18, 3-6pm during our launch party, we will be holding a small works fundraiser. If you would like to donate an artwork (2D or 3D) that is 12x12 inches or smaller and valued/priced at $100 please fill out the form below. 2. Silent Auction - We are collecting services, products, baskets, etc for a silent auction. https://www.januaryarts.org/post/silentauctiondonations
3. Donate through our website (still in progress) https://januaryarts.org/ or send a check to January Arts 660 South Avenue 21 #3 LA CA 90031 Your contributions go towards making workshops, portfolio reviews, critique groups, mentorship, speakers and more low cost or FREE for artists.
